PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emission element in which luminance unevenness caused by the resistance of an electrode can be suppressed, and a luminaire using the same.SOLUTION: An organic light emission element 101 has a first electrode layer 20, a functional layer 30 which is disposed on the first electrode layer 20 and contains at least a light emission layer 32, and a second electrode layer 40 disposed on the functional layer 30. When viewed from the normal line direction of the first electrode layer 20, a light emission area defined as a portion located between the first electrode layer 20 and the second electrode layer 40 out of the light emission layer 32 is provided. The light emission area contains at least one light take-out area for taking out light from the light emission layer 32 to the outside, the surface on a side of the functional layer 30 of the first electrode layer 20 has an uneven structure, and when viewed from the normal line direction of the first electrode layer 20, the uneven structure is different between the center portion and the peripheral portion of the light take-out area. |
