PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the authentication of a device by effectively using information specific to the device that would be set in the device originally and not for authentication purpose.SOLUTION: An information write device 10 generates an individual key using a master key and a MAC address in a factory and writes the individual key and the MAC address into a device 20. The device 20 generates the message authenticator of the MAC address and a MIC generation date/time using the individual key in a facility, and transmits authentication request information including the MAC address, the MIC generation date/time, and the message authenticator to a server 30 to request authentication. The authentication server 30 has an authentication processing unit 32 that generates an individual key using the master key and the MAC address included in the received authentication request information, generates the message authenticator of the MAC address and a MIC generation date/time using the individual key, and verifies, with this generated message authenticator, the message authenticator included in the received authentication request information. |
