A method and device for realizing unlocking. The method comprises: acquiring a pattern formed by sliding on a screen by a user (100); and calculating the similarity between the obtained pattern and a pre-set pattern, and when it is judged that the similarity obtained by calculation is greater than or equal to a pre-set threshold value, unlocking the screen (101). In this method, a screen is unlocked by comparing the similarity between a pattern formed by sliding on the screen by a user and a pre-set pattern, and since the pattern formed by sliding on the screen by the user has infinite probabilities, the probabilities of cracking an unlocking password are greatly reduced, thereby increasing the security of a mobile terminal. |
