PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system that can precharge and/or discharge a DC power supply while preventing the generation of an overcurrent without adding to the number of components.SOLUTION: A power converter 50 is configured to turn on/off switching elements S1-S4 for the purpose of switching between the operation of charging/discharging a DC power supply 10 and a DC power supply 20 in parallel and the operation of connecting the DC power supply 10 and the DC power supply 20 in series and charging/discharging both in common. A control device 40 controls on/off the switching elements S1-S4 such that when the DC power supply 10 precharges or discharges the DC power supply 20, the DC power supply 10 periodically repeats charging/discharging while the DC power supply 20 is only charged for precharging or only discharged for discharging, and each switching cycle has a period when currents of the DC power supplies 10 and 20 are the same. |
