PURPOSE:To provide the electronic musical instrument that a beginner can easily play by enabling a foot keyboard to serve as switches of the panel, etc., of the electronic musical instrument which can be played while assigning functions other than the original interval specifying function to the foot keyboard. CONSTITUTION:This electronic musical instrument, which has plural functions and plural switches indicating those respective functions and displays a specific function corresponding to the indication of a specific switch, is equipped with the foot keyboard 32, a storage means 11 wherein the keys of the foot keyboard and the switches are stored corresponding to each other, a specifying means 40 which specifies the use of the foot keyboard as the switches for indicating the respective functions, and a processing means 10 which performs the same processing with the operation of the switch corresponding to a pressed key according to the correspondence relation stored in the storage means when the key of the foot keyboard is pressed while the indication is made by the specifying means. |
