PURPOSE:To obtain a hair tonic excellent in the proliferation promotive activity for human follicle cells, depilation preventiveness and trichogenous promotive ability, thus useful for treating and prevention of masculine apopecia and diffused apopecia, containing, as an active ingredient, an solvent extract from a mixture of Morus alba and persimmon leaves. CONSTITUTION:This hair tonic contains, as an active ingredient, an extract derived from extracting (A) a mixture of Morus alba, i.e., the root skin of Morus bombycis Koidzumi, Morus alba Linne, or an homologous plant therefor with persimmon leaves belonging to a plant: Diospyros Kaki Thunb with (B) a solvent such as (hydrous) methanol, (hydrous) ethanol, (hydrous) acetone, n-hexane or toluene. It is preferable that the amount of the component B to be used be 5-20 (esp. 10-15) wt. times the component A. |
