<p>PURPOSE:To provide a dental prosthesis made of crystallized glass approximate to a natural tooth and more excellent in aesthetic property by providing the prosthesis with a basic color section having the prescribed crystallinity and partial color sections having the crystallinity different from that of the basic color section. CONSTITUTION:The area of the outermost periphery including the tip section of a dental prosthesis 10 is a basic color section 11 having the lowest crystallinity and high transparency of the crystallized glass constituting it. The color tone and transparency of the basic color section 11 are selected proximately to those of the tip section of a natural tooth. The first through fifth partial color sections 12-16 having higher crystallinity of the crystallized glass toward the inside are continuously formed on the inside of the basic color section 11. The fifth partial color section 16 on the innermost side near a root canal section has the lowest transparency and is made opaque, the transparency is increased toward the outside, and the dental prosthesis has the color tone and transparency very proximate to those of the natural tooth as a whole.</p> |
