<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording/reproducing apparatus which is capable of obtaining a stable reproduced image starting from the head of a program part by skipping CM. SOLUTION: This apparatus is constituted of a means 10 to discriminate CM from a voice signal and an image signal of a received TV broadcast signal, a means 14 to read or write positional information of a tape, a means 15 to read or write a control pulse, a means 12 to store the recognition number of a tape and the starting position and the ending position of a CM part, a means 11 to determine the tape operation mode from positional information of the CM and a means 16 to drive the tape according to the operation mode. The starting position and the ending position of the CM corresponding to the tape recognition number are stored at an absolute address on the tape discriminating the CM and the program during recording. A switching is made over to the fast feeding position from the starting end of the CM during the reproduction. The fast feeding position is released before the ending position of the CM stored and a switching is made over to a reproduction position to perform a reproduction starting from the head part of the program.</p> |
