<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable terminal which is operated by a battery and which can confirm, in advance by using a dummy load and a simple circuit, that a battery voltage is not less than an operatable voltage. SOLUTION: A block circuit at a portable terminal is constituted of a battery 1, a power-supply circuit 2, a dummy-load control circuit 3, a dummy-load circuit 4, a power-supply switch 5, and control part 6. Before the portable terminal is started, the dummy-load circuit 4 by which a load current equal to that of the control part 6 is connected to the output side of the power-supply circuit 2, the voltage of the battery 1 at this time is detected, and whether the portable terminal can be started or not is judged.</p> |
