PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a battery for an electric vehicle to easily connect batteries. SOLUTION: An approximately elliptical engaging hole 9 is opened at the fixed position of an upper case 4. A connecting member 6 is mounted to the engaging hole 9. The connecting member 6 consists of a rectangular metallic piece 10 and an assembly part 11 integrally formed at the center of the metallic piece 10. A contact part 14 is provided on both ends of the metallic piece 10, and a cup 14A is provided at the back side. An engaging projection 16 that fits in the engaging hole 9 is projected at the upper side of the assembly part 11, an arrowhead-shaped fit-in deflecting piece 17 is projected at the center of the engaging projection 16. When the connecting member 6 is pushed in the engaging hole 9, a fit-in part 17B of the fit-in deflecting piece 17 is fitted in a hole edge of the engaging hole 9 to be in a detachment preventive state. When a battery 1 is covered with the upper case 4, the connecting member 6 connects between positive and negative battery posts 5 by the covering movement. |
