PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club by which a desired stable ball flying characteristic is obtained. SOLUTION: A shaft lower end is connected to a hosel 11 so that a maximum hardness part M on a circumference at a kick point of a shaft 20 is in an optional fixed direction on the circumference, and the grade of toe-down at the time of downswing is substantially set to the desired fixed value. When the maximum hardness part is set to the upper side of the shaft or to its vicinity, toe-down becomes substantially constant at a minimum, and a draw type ball flying characteristic is obtained, and when the maximum hardness part is set to the lower side of the shaft or to its vicinity, a fade type flying characteristic is obtained.
|
