PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Kanji input device and method with which more Kanji can be inputted within fixed time, all the Kanji can be inputted within four times of key pressing and the Kanji can be inputted by the less number of times of key pressing while easily and simply inputting the Kanji and also the Kanji is more simply inputted by using a different connection key in the case of complicated Kanji constituted of many radicals. SOLUTION: These Kanji input device and method are provided with a Kanji input key means provided with a radical key for indicating a component for constituting the Kanji and the connection key for indicating the connection structure of the radicals, a signal conversion means for converting the signals of the radical key and the connection key to the signals which can be processed from a rear end, a memory means for storing the Kanji specified by the radical and connection structure and a Kanji generation means for generating the Kanji specified by the inputted radical key and connection key. |
