PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage element in which film formation of an electrode is made uniform, and variation of durability is suppressed and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A power storage element includes an electrode body 2 having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator, an electrolyte 6 containing a film formation agent as an additive and impregnating into the electrode body 2, a container 3 for housing the electrode body 2 constituted of an upper plate 32, a bottom plate 33 and a sidewall and the electrolyte 6, a positive electrode terminal 4, and a negative electrode terminal 5 arranged on the same surface as the positive electrode terminal 4. The ratio of film formation amount per unit volume of the electrode body 2 at an end on the terminal side to that of at an end on the opposite side from the terminal side is 0.8-1.2. |
