PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute intensive printing capable of maintaining readability of characters reduced in size while preventing a whole output image from being influenced by reduction in toner.SOLUTION: An image processor of the present invention is capable of executing intensive printing for consolidating input images of a plurality of pages into one page, and printing the page out. The image processor includes character part determination means, first edge determination means, and toner attachment amount reduction means. The character part determination means determines the pixels that form a character part contained in an input image. The first edge determination means determines the pixels in an edge area of the character part among the pixels forming the character part which have been determined by the character part determination means. The toner attachment amount reduction means performs a control for reducing a toner attachment amount in the edge area of the character part when the intensive printing is executed. |
