PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered magnet manufacturing mold capable of manufacturing a sintered magnet without performing mechanical grinding or mechanical polishing for chamfering.SOLUTION: A mold 10 is configured to manufacture a sintered magnet by performing orientation and sintering in the state where an alloy powder of a raw material of the sintered magnet is accommodated, without performing compression molding after being filled with the alloy powder. The mold 10 includes: a main body 11 including an opening 112; and a cover 12 that covers the opening 112 and includes a planar inner surface (cover-side C surface) 125 of which the crossing angle with an inner wall surface 113 in an intersection with the inner wall surface 113 of the main body 10 is an obtuse angle. Since the inner surface (cover-side C surface) 125 crosses the inner wall surface 113 at the obtuse angle, a rigid line of the sintered magnet to be obtained also becomes the obtuse angle and the need of mechanical grinding or mechanical polishing for chamfering is eliminated. In place of the cover-side C surface 125, an inner surface (cover-side R surface) may also be included that is a curved surface in which a contact plane at each point on the intersection crosses the inner wall surface at the obtuse angle. |
