PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an orientation film from being pealed off from an inorganic insulation film formed between the inorganic insulation film and a seal material in a seal part.SOLUTION: The problem described above can be achieved by a configuration as described below. A liquid crystal display device has a display region and a terminal part, in which an inorganic insulation film 104 is formed on an organic passivation film 103, and includes a TFT substrate 100 formed with the inorganic insulation film 104 on the organic passivation film 103 and formed with an orientation film 106 by covering the inorganic insulation film 104; and a counter substrate 200 attached by a seal material 30 which is formed on a seal part surrounding the display region and sealed with a liquid crystal 300 in the inside of the seal material. In the seal part, a transparent oxide conductive film 105 is formed between the inorganic insulation film 104 and the orientation film 106. The transparent oxide conductive film 105 is present on the side inner than the end part of the TFT substrate 100, and the transparent oxide conductive film 105 is not present on the end part of the TFT substrate 100. |
