PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RC-IGBT drive circuit that is able to immediately turn off an RC-IGBT without using a negative power source.SOLUTION: A drive circuit 1 is provided with a plurality of switch circuits SW2 to SW6 connected to a space between two of a CG connection terminal 9, E connection terminal 11, and a capacitance connection terminal 13. A control signal generating section 3 on/off-controls the switch circuits SW2 to SW6. When the IGBT2 is changed from an on-state to an off-state, a charging path is formed for supplying electric charges, which have been supplied to the capacity between a control gate CG and an emitter, to a capacity 14 connected to a capacity connection terminal 13, and then a negative voltage application path is formed for connecting the positive-potential-side terminal and negative-potential-side terminal of the capacitor 14 to the emitter and a second gate respectively. |
