PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fungus number inhibiting method which is hard to decompose in a humidifier, inhibits a fungus number in the water in a container of a humidifier, and sterilizes fungi in the air in the dispersion to the air.SOLUTION: A fungus number inhibiting method includes adding, to a water system in a humidifier, a fungus number inhibitor composition including chlorine oxidant and at least one of sulfamic acid and sulfamoyl benzoic acid, or a reactant of chlorine oxidant and at least one of sulfamic acid and sulfamoyl benzoic acid. |
