PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller capable of easily achieving system restoration.SOLUTION: A programmable controller 100 includes: a CPU unit 2 having a CPU 21 and a plurality of memories A and B for respectively storing control programs P1 and P2; and an I/O unit 3 for inputting/outputting data between the CPU unit 2 and an external controlled equipment 4. The CPU unit 2 includes: a memory changeover switch 25 for connecting only one of the plurality of memories A and B to the CPU 21; a memory transfer control processing part 27 for backing up a control program stored in the memory connected to the CPU 21 between the plurality of memories A and B to the memory other than the memory connected to the CPU 21; and a memory transfer switch 26 for starting the processing of the memory transfer control processing part 27. |
