PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting system for installing and removing a component in a turbine, the mounting system being compact and allowing exact-fit positioning of the relevant component in the turbine.SOLUTION: The disclosure pertains to a mounting system 9 for mounting a turbine component 7 and/or removing the turbine component 7 from a turbine 30. The mounting system 9 includes a suspended rail structure 1 for moving the turbine component 7 with a traveller 10 which movably connects a holder 11, 12 for holding the turbine component 7 to the rail structure 1. The mounting system further includes a lifter 5 with a support frame 3, the support frame 3 being attachable to the lifter 5 and configured for receiving the turbine component 7 with the holder 11, 12. The disclosure further refers to a method for mounting and removing the turbine component 7. |
