PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a driver's eye line position with excellent performance.SOLUTION: A method of controlling a vehicle seat with a plurality of mechanisms, which include a slide mechanism SM for a slide movement of a seat cushion 4 in a vehicle cabin, a recliner mechanism RM for inclining/erecting a seat back 6 with respect to the seat cushion 4, a lifter mechanism LM for a vertical movement of the seat cushion 4 as a whole, and a tilt mechanism TM for adjusting the seat surface angle of the seat cushion 4 from the front part to the rear part, comprises: a driver's operation on at least one of the plurality of mechanisms (SM, RM, LM, and TM) to assume a posture in which the driver's leg part can reach a pedal PD disposed in a vehicle cabin; and an automatic operation of the lifter mechanism LM and the slide mechanism SM to vertically move the position of the driver's eye part with a driver's knee part fixed as an original point with no need to change the position of the driver's knee part. |
