PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin mill capable of being washed without any possibility of intrusion of the washing water into a pin mill drive shaft bearing.SOLUTION: In a vertical axis type pin mill, a rotary side pin disc 8 and a stationary side pin disc 4 are formed into umbrella type shapes. The vertical axis type pin mill can be cleaned, without being disassembled, and with all the components installed, while being driven by feeding rinsing water 13 from an input port 1, so that the washing operation is simplified without powder dust being scattered around at cleaning time. |
