PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of an image formed on a recording medium.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes first discharge means for discharging a first solvent to coat a recording medium, and second discharge means for discharging an inkjet ink to adhere to the first solvent coated on the recording medium, where the inkjet ink contains a second solvent, and a resin and a coloring material dissolved in the second solvent, the first solvent can precipitate the resin when dropping the inkjet ink, the second solvent can mix with the first solvent, and the first discharge means discharges the first solvent so that an area on which the first solvent is discharged is larger than an area on which the inkjet ink is discharged when the inkjet ink is discharged. |
