The present invention relates to a method for treating pollutants, combined with a photocatalytic process, comprising: a light radiation step (S1) of preparing an anode unit including an anode, a cathode unit including a cathode, and a light source, and shedding ultraviolet (UV) or visible light upon the cathode unit with the light source; a photocatalyst reaction step (S2) of causing UV light- or visible light-responsive photocatalyst reaction on the cathode unit; a photocatalyst support charging step (S3) of coating the cathode unit with photocatalysts being responsive to the UV or visible light, or charging the cathode unit with the UV light- or visible light-responsive photocatalysts-impregnated photocatalytic support; a carrier charging step (S4) of inputting a carrier or sludge around the anode of the anode unit; and a wastewater supply step (S5) of supplying wastewater, as a microbial substrate, around the anode of the anode unit. Thus, the prevent invention has advantages of efficiently operating a wastewater treatment system with less energy and at low costs, maximizing efficiency of wastewater treatment, and producing hydrogen. |
