A digital broadcasting receiver and a method for controlling the same are disclosed in the present disclosure. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for controlling the digital broadcasting receiver comprises the steps of: receiving a broadcasting signal where mobile service data and main service data are multiplexed; extracting transmit parameter channel (TPC) signaling information and fast information channel (FIC) signaling information from a data group in the received mobile service data (the FIC signaling information comprises a current/next indicator, and the TPC signaling information comprise FIC version information); and detecting ensemble configuration information of a current MH frame using the extracted FIC signaling information and the TPC signaling information.
