MOLECULAR BEACONS FOR DETECTING OLIGONUCLEOTIDES CONTAINING CAG REPEAT SEQUENCES AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a molecular beacon which can be useful for detecting a CAG repeat sequence, and to a use thereof. The molecular beacon of the present invention shows increased fluorescence intensity by being hybridized with the CAG repeat sequence. Therefore, it is anticipated that a use of the molecular beacon may provide information for more effective diagnosis of Huntington′s disease, spinocerebellar ataxia type-3, spinocerebellar ataxia type-6, and dentatorubropallidoluysian atrophy.
