The present invention relates to a ball head for a tripod, which is used while having a camera held thereon, comprising: a casing having an inner space formed therein; a ball inserted into the casing to adjust an angle; a joint plate mounted on top of the ball; a tightening means for tightening or releasing the angle adjustment state of the ball; and an axial pin for restricting the direction of adjusting the angle of the ball to one direction. The axial pin provides a rotational axis, which is inserted to penetrate a hole, and formed in the casing and the ball, to adjust the angle of the ball. Also the axial pin is coupled to the hole formed in the ball to make the tightening of the ball using the tightening means firm while moving vertically together with the ball. The rotating structure of the ball head used while having a camera mounted thereon can be freely moved by the ball, and angle adjustment can be performed only in one direction by the operation of a user, as necessary, to enable the user to take photographs by varying the angle without shaking. |
