<p>The present invention relates to a shrinkage compensating mortar composition used for installing bridge expansion joints and, more specifically, to a shrinkage compensating mortar composition which is formed by mixing 54.95-62.66 wt% of powder type shrinkage compensating mortar composition with 8.34-10.05 wt% of liquid type shrinkage compensating mortar composition, and mixing the mixture with 29-35 wt% of coarse aggregate. The powder type shrinkage compensating mortar composition comprises 18-23 wt% of calcium aluminate based rapid-hardening material, 0.52-2.0 wt% of silica fume based waterproofing admixture; 0.25-0.35 wt% of superplasticizer, 0.7-2.0 wt% of expansive admixture, 0.09-0.3 wt% of foaming agent, 0.1-0.3 wt% of amine based corrosion inhibitor, and 27-43 wt% of fine aggregate. The liquid type shrinkage compensating mortar composition comprises 4.5-5.15 wt% of styrene acrylic emulsion, 0.03-0.07 wt% of foaming agent, 0.01-0.03 wt% of wetting agent, and 3.8-4.8 wt% of water. The present invention relates: to the shrinkage compensating mortar composition used for installing bridge expansion joints which overcomes weaknesses of conventional shrinkage compensating mortar compositions used for installing the bridge expansion joints such as deterioration caused by chemicals including a deicing agent, neutralization caused by weak water resistance, cracks occurred by weak impact resistance, damages caused by exfoliation, and the likes, thereby enhancing service life; and to a construction method using the same.</p> |
