A callback method and terminal. The method comprises: detecting an incoming phone call; and when it is determined that the incoming call number belongs to a callback number, conducting hang-up and callback processing on the incoming call. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, an incoming call needing to be called back can be automatically recognized; and when a contact person needing to be called back makes a call, it is achieved to automatically hang up and call back.
