PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electric contact element for preventing the formation of tin whiskers, and a contact element.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of an electric contact element, capable of preventing the formation of tin whiskers, in particular at a press-in connection. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a corresponding contact element. The manufacturing method of an electric contact element includes the steps of: preparing a base member; and forming at least one conductive contact layer on the base member. The contact layer has an outer surface bulged by irregularities and suitable for receiving a lubricant.
