PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeping imaging prevention device capable of deteriorating image quality of an image imaged by interpersonal peeping action.SOLUTION: A peeping imaging prevention device has a configuration comprising a radiation device for radiating infrared pulse light that has predetermined high output and is modulated using a predetermined modulation system, to an imaging apparatus 7. The predetermined modulation system has a random or pseudo random pattern. The radiation device described above is provided with respect to, for example, an escalator. The radiation device may be positioned at a position including at least one, for example all, of: upper illumination devices 11a, 11b, 11c disposed on an upper ceiling 9 positioned above an escalator 1; handrail illumination devices 12a, 12b, 12c disposed on a handrail 3; step guard illumination devices 13a, 13b, 13c disposed on a step guard 8; and a step illumination device 14 disposed on a step 2. |
