A mobile communication device that comprises a fashion accessory and a signaling assembly is provided. The signaling assembly may be configured to provide sensory stimuli such as a flashing LED light and a vibration. These stimuli may vary depending on the signal received from a remote communication device or from gestures made by a user or from information stored in the mobile communication device.

1. A mobile communication device comprising:
(a) a fashion accessory, wherein the fashion accessory is a ring, wherein the ring comprises a head and a shank, wherein the head comprises a base and the base is adjacent to the shank; and (b) a signaling assembly, wherein the signaling assembly is housed within or affixed to the fashion accessory and is capable of generating a plurality of different sensory stimuli, wherein the different sensory stimuli are based on receipt of different communications from a remote transmitting device, and wherein at least one of the sensory stimuli is a visual display, and (c) an antenna, wherein said antenna is housed within the head and the head comprises a non-metallic material or semi-precious stone that is exposed to the exterior of the mobile communication device on a side of the head opposite to the base, wherein the non-metallic material or semi-precious stone is located between the antenna and the exterior of the mobile communication device and no metallic substance is located between the antenna and the non-metallic material or semi-precious stone.
