<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the change of image quality between continuous pages when correcting meandering of a photoreceptor belt. <P>SOLUTION: When detecting the meandering of the photoreceptor belt, a remaining distance that the photoreceptor belt moves by the time a print job is finished is calculated. Then, correction amount per minimum unit time corresponding to the remaining moving distance of the photoreceptor belt is calculated, and the meandering of the photoreceptor belt is corrected according to the correction amount per minimum unit time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
