The present invention relates to a comb foundation which is a base plate of a beekeeping honeycomb and, more specifically, to a comb foundation for beekeeping, which is configured such that unit cells of the comb foundation respectively fixed to a plurality of comb frames inserted into a beehive have gradually smaller diameters as the unit cells extend from the upper part of the comb foundation to the lower part thereof on the basis of the assumption that the comb foundation is placed perpendicular to the ground. In addition, the present invention: can obtain an effect of enabling an increase in the resistance of bee colonies to diseases and insects according to the size of a comb cell, since the sizes of unit cells to be based on the comb cell gradually become smaller from the upper part of the comb foundation to the lower part thereof; can change the size of the comb cell according to the season so as to effectively increase the honeybee population in any severe environment, since the comb cells formed by the unit cells of various sizes have various sizes; and can obtain an effect of enabling an increase in the amount of honey produced by increasing the population of working bees due to the above effects. |
