PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle which can accurately calculate a rotation speed even if the rotation speed of a prescribed rotating member becomes low, and can reduce a processing load.SOLUTION: In a low rotation region in which a rotation speed N is not higher than a first reference value α, arithmetic calculation without frequency division is performed on the basis of a pulse signal P which is created by a rotation speed sensor 72. Like this, since the arithmetic calculation is performed on the basis of all the pulse signals P which are created by the rotation speed sensor 72, the calculation accuracy of the rotation speed N can be secured even in the low rotation region. On the other hand, in a high rotation region in which the rotation speed N is not lower than a second reference value 2 &bgr;, arithmetic calculation with frequency division is performed on the basis of a frequency-divided pulse signal Pwhich is obtained by frequency-dividing the pulse signal P. Since a rotating member K rotates at high rotation in the high rotation region, the frequency-divided pulse signal Pis frequently created, and the calculation accuracy of the rotation speed N can be secured. |
