A real-time data backup method for a single hard disk is provided to store data to a stripe block of another block included to the same hard disk in case that the data is backed up by partitioning the single hard disk into more than two unit blocks. A storage area of the hard disk is partitioned into a plurality of unit blocks. Two unit blocks are continuously selected to store backup data. The backup data is stored to the stripe block of each selected unit block at the same time to complete data backup. In case that the selected unit blocks are filled up, the other two blocks are selected for the data backup.
