PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor pixel which includes a photoelectric conversion unit supported on a substrate and an insulator adjacent to the substrate.SOLUTION: An image sensor pixel exists inside an opening of an insulator 110 so as to have an air interface partially and includes cascade connected optical waveguides 116 and 130 extending to above the insulator. The cascade connected optical waveguide may include self-alignment color filters having a space 422 between the color filters 114B and 114G adjacent to each other. The space may be sealed with a transparent sealing film from above. The transparent sealing film may include a concave face right above the space so as to cause light getting into the space across the concave face to be dispersed over the color filters adjacent away from the space. Further, a part of support walls present between a pair of the color filters may have larger width in an upper part than width in a lower part thereof so as to form a shape of a neck in order to achieve better holding by pressing the color filters. |
