PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of reducing the amount of ink-receiving members to be used by efficiently using the ink-receiving member for receiving an ink discharged from a recording head.SOLUTION: In an inkjet recording apparatus 12, when an ink discharge amount to an ink-receiving area in an ink-receiving member 8 exceeds a predetermined amount, moving means 5 moves the ink-receiving member 8 to change the ink-receiving area in the ink-receiving member 8. Furthermore, when the ink discharge amount exceeds a predetermined amount, controlling means controls the moving amount of the ink-receiving member 8 by the moving means 5 according to the temperature of the ink. |
