PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens body which maintains line-shaped light emission appearance even if a view point position is changed, and can obtain uniform light emission (or substantially-uniform light emission) appearance, and a lighting appliance for a vehicle having the same.SOLUTION: A lens body 12J includes: a first lens part 12A1 including a first rear end part 12A1aa, a front end part 12A1bb, a pair of left and right side faces 44a, 44b which are arranged between the first rear end part 12A1aa and the first front end part 12A1bb, and a lower reflection face 12b arranged between the first rear end 12A1aa and the first front end part 12A1bb; a second lens part 12A2 which is arranged in front of the first lens part 12A1, and includes a second rear end part 12A2aa, and a second front end part 12A2bb; and a connecting part 12A3 which connects the first lens part 12A1 and the second lens part 12A2. The lens body further includes an upper face 44c which is arranged between the first rear end part 12A1aa of the first lens part 12A1 and the front end part 12A1bb. |
