PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external or internal preparation for skin containing extract of Ipomoea aquatica cultivated under irradiation with light having a specific wavelength band.SOLUTION: The Ipomoea aquatica of the invention is cultivated under irradiation with light having a specific wavelength band, and extract thereof exhibits an excellent antioxidant effect, collagen production promotion effect, matrix metalloprotease (MMP) inhibiting effect, whitening effect, cell proliferation effect, and ceramide production promotion effect, and thus an external or internal preparation for skin containing them is particularly effective. |
