SIGN DEVICE FOR GATE OPENING USING ETC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of preventing the delay in the presence recognition of a gate opening using an ETC in a cloudy state in the daytime and further in a state of a poor visual field at night.

SOLUTION: A sign main body comprises: an EL display element which intermittently flickers and displays a reminder, such as speed deceleration and the gate opening using an ETC, with characters at fixed spaces; and a flasher of a contrast operation adapted type for controlling the flicker of the EL display element. The sign main part is installed forward near the gate opening using the ETC and in a position where the traveling is not hindered, and thereby the delay in the presence recognition of the gate opening even in the cloudy state in the daytime and further in the state of the poor visual field at night is made possible.
