<p>The invention relates to a strip wiping device comprising an upper sheet metal profile (A) consisting of a horizontal portion (C) parallel to the metal strip (5), and a portion (f) inclined relatively thereto and a lower sheet profile (B) consisting of a horizontal portion (d), parallel to the metal strip (5), and a portion (g) inclined relatively thereto, some inclined lamellae (1), mounted on the inner surface of the horizontal portion (C) and between which some rollers (3 and 4) made of textile material are located, some inclined lamellae (2) mounted on the inner surface of the horizontal portion (d) and between which some rollers (6 and 7) made of textile material, some rollers (8) made of textile material located on the inner surface of the inclined portion (f) and some rollers (9) made of textile material located on the inner surface of the inclined portion (g), the rollers (3, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9) made of textile material being maintained in contact with the metal strip (5), and playing the role of wiping said strip during the zinc coating process. The upper sheet metal profile (A) and the lower sheet metal profile (B) have the shape of letter Z and are united along a side (b) by welding and frame a metal strip (5), so as to form an acute angle (h) between the inclined portion (f) and an inclined portion (g).</p> |
