PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyelectrolyte membrane using ion conductive nanofiber nonwoven fabric which is small in fiber diameter and in variation of fiber diameter, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The polyelectrolyte membrane comprises a sheet-like porous core material having a matrix structure of nanofiber formed by an electrospinning method and a polyelectrolyte impregnated in the porous core material, the nanofiber containing an ion conductive polymer and having an average fiber diameter of 400 nm or less. The ion conductive polymer may be a proton conductive polymer such as cation exchange resin having a strong acid group. |
