<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately install a splash shield in a compact manner and to effectively demonstrate its splash guard function. <P>SOLUTION: The front vehicle body structure of a vehIcle includes a pair of right and left front side frames 1, subframes 2 arranged below the front side frames 1, and a splash shield 3 installed to cover a part between the front side frame and the subframe 2, and front wheels 4 are arranged outside the splash shield 3 in a vehicle width direction to be steered. In the subframe 2, a recess 19 to avoid interference with the transaxle device 8 of the vehicle is provided at the lower part in a recessed manner. In the splash shield 3, outward recesses 22 and 23 to avoid interference with the transaxle device 8 are provided toward the outer side in the vehicle width direction in a recessed manner, and an extension part 24 extending from the inner side of the outward recesses 22 and 23 in the vehicle width direction to the lower part and covering the recess 19 of the subframe 3 from the outside of the vehicle, is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
