An automatic tape processing apparatus 110 can automatically perform processes of controlling a feed device 120 and a separation device 150 to sequentially position respective cutting target portions Q1, Q2 of a carrier tape 21 and a top tape 22 at a cutting position Lc, and controlling a cutting device 160 to sequentially cutting the respective cutting target portions Q1, Q2 of the carrier tape 21 and the top tape 22, based on a detection signal from a detection device 140. Thus, it is not necessary to perform a tape cutting operation by an operator, and thus, it is possible to reduce a workload of the operator. Further, since the processes do not rely on the degree of skill of the operator, it is possible to improve efficiency when setting the component packaging tape 2 to the tape feeder 90. |
