PURPOSE:To enable to protect a compressor even when uncontrollable operation or trouble of a microcomputer is caused, by connecting a compressor protecting means in series to an electromagnetic contactor for the compressor. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor protecting means is set into operation, an electromagnetic contactor 5 is turned OFF and an auxiliary contact 5a of the contactor 5 is opened for detecting whether some trouble has been caused or not. Thereupon, operation of the electromagnetic contactor 5 is checked after turning a relay 3 ON and delaying a time required for operation of the contactor 5. In case that the contactor 5 is OFF, it is judged that some trouble has taken place. On the other hand, in case that operation of a compressor cannot be stopped due to uncontrollable operation or trouble of a micro-computor controlling means, the compressor is stopped for protection by turning OFF the electromagnetic contactor 5 through operation of the compressor protecting means. |
