Novelty: a portable device meant for the measurement and registration of water meter indications is disclosed. Constitution: a) the electronic device 1 destined for the photographing, recognition of consumption indications, identification of the meters used by benefit purpose entities as well as for the safe registration of indications and data related to each data meter; b) the frame destined for the fitting of the electronic device to the adequate position opposite to the face of the meter’s indications and in relationship to the geometrical configuration of the meters of the precise benefit purpose entity. Preferred embodiment of the invention: the frame 2 suited for the fitting of the electronic device 1 to a water meter.
