The electric pump of the present invention comprises: a pump housing (12); a motor (14); and, an impeller (16). The impeller is driven by the motor. The pump housing (12) has an entrance (18) and an exit (20). The motor comprises a stator (22); and, a rotor (24). There is an air gap (25) between the stator (22) and the rotor (24). The stator comprises a stator core (26) which comprises: a yoke (32); and, teeth extended from the yoke into a radial shape. A stator winding (29) is wound around each tooth. The teeth comprise multiple first teeth (36) and multiple second teeth (38), which are placed in turn. A groove (42) is formed on the external surface of the yoke (32) corresponding to each first teeth (36). The first teeth and the second teeth have different shapes, and the stator core has a magnetic circuit distributed symmetrically. |
