PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable which eliminates the need of a special core metal and allows location of a conductor positioned on both end sides in the central part of an insulator.SOLUTION: A flat cable 1 includes a plurality of conductors 3 arranged in parallel at specified intervals and an insulator 5 which is provided by extrusion molding of an insulation resin so as to cover the outer periphery of the conductors 3. The insulator 5 has a connection part 7 for connecting adjacent conductors 3 and 3 together and ear parts 9 and 9 which are extended in the parallel direction from the conductors 3 and 3 located outermost. The thicknesses T1 and T2 of the connection part 7 and the ear parts 9 are set to be comparable with each other, and the length L2 of the ear parts 9 in the extension direction is set to be a half or more of the length L1 of the connection part 7 in the parallel direction. |
