PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital protective relay system capable of protecting a protection target at the time of failure as well as at time of recovery, with a simple system configuration.SOLUTION: A digital protective relay system comprises a first digital protective relay Ry11 and a second digital protective relay Ry12, each of which comprises: a first protective relay element for detecting an accident in a first protection target L11 on the basis of a quantity of electricity obtained from the first protection target; a second protective relay element for detecting an accident in a second protection target L12 on the basis of a quantity of electricity obtained from the second protection target; and a failure detection function for detecting a component failure. A signal for operating a breaker CB for a protection target is issued when the two protective relay elements for the same protection target detect an accident or when one of the first and second digital protective relays detects an accident in the protection target and a failure detection function of the other of the first and second digital protective relays detects a component failure. |
